Carolon's Base Camp

Our first blog post is not about what we do, but what we believe.

One of our founders, Roger Brookes, is an accomplished mountain climber, summiting some of the most beautiful mountains in the world: Mont Blanc du Tacul, Mont Blanc de Cheilon, Pigne d’Arolla, La Luette, among others.

Whether the goal is to ascend a gentle peak or to strive to conquer a mighty summit, a mountaineer needs the skills and resources to achieve his or her aim. The challenges range from technical to environmental and are solved by the application of knowledge, training and sheer tenacity.

At Carolon, we believe that three things are required to be successful: preparation, teamwork and experience. That’s it. The path to the top is treacherous. If you are missing any one of these key elements, the plan can fail. The surest way to succeed is to work with a partner that brings together all the capabilities that will support you to achieve your goal.

We will never tell you “it’s easy.” We cannot guarantee perfect conditions. Markets can be as turbulent as the weather, changing every day. What we can promise is that decisions will be made based upon the myriad changing factors and that our experience will keep the plan on track.

We believe in simple values: relationships come first, trust is fundamental and success is based on partnerships.
